I haven't posted a dream in nearly two years, so I might as well go into very descriptive detail. This is the first time in awhile since I've been able to remember something so vividly in my dreams.
For two days in a row, I've been dreaming that I have been staying in my stepmother's lake house that is right across from her huge 3 story house. (I don't know this lady in real life, nor the house.)
It started off as me staying with her until I found out that she had a lake house that was 2 stories and had about 3 beds inside. It was basically like a little apartment, and it was very clean for being a place nobody ever went inside of. I don't remember the previous dream, but I remembered that everything was the same inside of the house.
There was a sea that surrounded it (as far as I am aware,) and I had been observing it from one of the windows. My stepmother had called me and asked me if I would like to go out, because she was ready to move on from her previous relationship (in the dream, I thought they were married but they weren't.) I walk to her house and we discussed further plans we were going to do today. (I don't remember those.)
I leave to get dressed, and wound up walking into another room I hadn't been in before and watched the new view of the sea. The water seemed to be pushed farther back and sand seemed to be level enough for me to walk on so I rush to get changed in a bathing suit, forgetting that I was supposed to be going out. When I looked up, water seemed to replace the sky with some green sea-like look. The stepmother just so happens to be walking downstairs and I scream "woah, look at that wave!" It crashes into the side of the room and a side of the window slightly leaks. I look out again and the sky is being replaced with water again. The wave is slightly higher, but still huge. It hits the side of the room again, and water floods the inside and I'm magically carried downstairs.
At this point, it's happening more and more each second. One bedroom had not been touched yet, and so she drags me in, only for me to find a strange old man stretched out on the bed. Another wave hits and we all get knocked out onto the main roads. Babies start crying and screaming and I see her with one twin boy in each hand, panicking and trying to run away. Another wave hits, and we land in her garage. I am unable to get up, and both of the babies are out of her hand while she is drifting closer to the sea. She manages to grab one child, and I grab the other. For some reason, I was focused on getting my phone from on top of the drawer, knowing that it was most likely broken. Another wave hits, and I manage to save the boy that I had, while she kept struggling. The waves seemed to stop hitting every single area in the garage, so I stayed in the spots that were dry, while I screamed for her to do the same. She kept struggling. I get closer to the room, and the child I had, had stopped crying. My dogs popped up out of nowhere, and they were all sleeping in a group together on a dry piece on the floor. The waves were still the same size but weren't seeming to hit in the house anymore. I get closer and closer to my phone and it all of the sudden started ringing and i had woke up. At that time, my phone actually rang, so that was pretty weird how it fell into place. (Also, the boys were in red onesies if that matters.)
