Shooting Strangers

Shooting Strangers

In this dream, I was hovering in the air, above a grassy strip of land which was at a fairly high altitude over the water below. A stream of people running to the north were across from me and I had a gun in my hands. I began to aim fire, shooting at all of them. Bodies began to hit the ground and there was only a few survivors. Two or three of the survivors turned left, and I didn't pursue them. Three survivors ran around the corner and to the right so I went after them. I was on land now, and I told them if they gave me a reason to why they shouldn't die I would not kill them.
The first girl to my right was weary. She told me she was stationed here from six in the morning to late into the night and that she only did this for her family. Blood was streaming down her chest from where I shot her and so I began to feel guilty. The girl in the middle who had black hair said she was a healer. I don't remember the third person being present or if they had given me a reason.
I also recall a fragment of the dream where I was chanting some sort of spell. They were all strangers to me and I felt neutral about them.

Hi Anamel! If this were my dream I would note the contrast between being high in the air/high altitude and water below, and I would imagine this may be speaking about a "conflict" (shooting) between what I may "think" and how I may "feel." I would consider the strangers may symbolize aspects of myself, for which I am unfamiliar or aspects of myself I may have rejected (shooting). I would ask myself, "How does my dream suggest I should 'aim' to use my 'higher' aspirations to 'heal' any conflict or become a 'healer?'"
